About Us

Are you recognising the same Christmas card each year from your parents “To their dearest Daughter and her Girlfriend”?

Are you uninspired by the gay wedding cards?

Are you having to buy a birthday card from the comedy section just so you can find a card with a wheelchair user in?

Are you part of the LGBTQ+ community but want a gift in the colours you identify with, rather than just the rainbow flag?

Whether you are a lover or hater of buying cards and presents, you can’t deny the warm fuzzy feeling you get when you have found that perfect one!

Here at RCrafts, we pride ourselves in providing unique, handmade gifts and greeting cards that represent who you are buying for. Our cards cater for men, women, opposite sex couples, same sex couple, wheelchair users and non-wheelchair users and we use colour themes including but not limited to, the rainbow flag, transgender flag and bisexual flag.

About Us

Our Story

We Create. Just for You.

I have always had a love for crafting but a hate of clutter. So, after many years of making things for friends and family (who luckily did not see my crafting as clutter), I decided to open an online crafting store.

I loved Lego as a child and when I met my partner who is a self-confessed AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego), this passion resurfaced. I love how when Lego is mentioned it makes people smile no matter the age and this is where the creativity started…what can I make with these toy bricks that will make people smile and want to buy it?

As much as “times are progressing”, I still feel the choice of greeting cards for same-sex couples are limited (and boring!). To the point that each year, I am seeing the same card designs in the shop! It is this that sparked the initial business concept – I wanted to create a greeting card design and then produce the same design in different variations representing men, women, gay couples, transgender couple, straight couples etc.

Then, whilst on the subject of limited representation in card shops, it made me think that I have never been able to find an appropriate card for my step dad who is in a wheelchair. Whether it be for his birthday, Christmas or Wedding anniversary, as you rarely see a wheelchair user on a card unless it is part of a joke about someone’s age. I therefore wanted to add wheelchair users to my variation of greeting card designs.

I am lucky to be surrounded by a close and creativity family and I wanted to build a business that we could all be part of. I am therefore proud to introduce The RCraft family as myself (Sara), Alice (my partner), Trish (my mum) and Eve (Alice’s nan). We each bring a different skill to the table, allowing us to provide unique gift options in addition to our greeting cards.
